San Francisco's August Newsletter & Bon Voyage Party 2007 Announcement
Dear Reader,
The annual Bon Voyage party is the highlight event of the San Francisco Chapter's calendar, and it is upon is.
We hope you will join us as we greet newly-admitted students to the LSE and their families, wishing them well as they prepare for their departure for London and begin their new academic adventures. This party will also provide the opportunity for them to mix with alumni from the LSE to share memories of recent and longer days past at the LSE.
For those who have attended in the past, we hope to see you again. For those who have just started attending SF chapter events this year, we encourage you to join us for this unique event that presents a rare opportunity for alumni and new students to connect in a special setting.
The King George Hotel will be providing the backdrop for our evening. Centrally located and quintessentially British, the King George's Windsor Tearoom and Winston Bar promise to transport us to London for the evening. The traditional atmosphere will give students a taste of things to come and will make the alumni nostalgic.
Please join us for a splendid array of heavy snacks and interesting chats on Friday, August 10 from 6:30PM onward. RSVP for this event is mandatory and can be done through the www.aflse.org website or by clicking here: Please RSVP and pay online by clicking here. Tickets are $10 per person for alumni and family; free for newly- admitted students.
We are looking forward to seeing you on August 10.
Thank you for your support of the AFLSE!
