AFLSE San Francisco Newsletter - First Monday next week and information!!
Dear Reader,
Even though the summer is over, it seems fine weather is coming to the Bay Area. Please enjoy with us the first autumn evening at our First Monday get together in downtown San Francisco! We lost our flag and sadly, LSE doesn't make them anymore. Not to worry, Mauricio brings an ugly LSE scarf to help identify the group! Full details below.
Careers and Networking Opportunities: Interested in receiving regular information about available jobs and networking opportunities? --Please join the AFLSE Careers and Networking group at http://www.aflse.org/groups.html?pp=1125. Do you have open positions at your company that you are able to post to alumni and/or are you interested in serving as an alumni contact at your company? --Please email careernetworking@aflse.org with position/contact details!
Finally, we have some alumni/current student requests:
- David Brown graduated with an Msc in International Political Economy from LSE in 2010. He is currently in London, but now is looking to come back to the U.S., and possibly work in consulting in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is looking for advice, and if you can provide it, please contact him at: dbrown1515@gmail.com
- Courtney Smith has just begun a Masters in Urban and Regional planning at LSE, and she is interested to learn what type of opportunities are available for LSE Postgraduates in this field in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you can provide some guidance, please contact her at: smithmbc@gmail.com
Thanks!
