AFLSE July Events and Launch of Annual Bon Voyage Program
Dear Reader,
In July, Seattle alums will have the opportunity to meet and mix for the first time in many months, those in Washington, DC are invited to attend the latest in the alumni speaker series, and for New Yorkers there is another Philharmonia in the Park picnic and concert.
Also in July we launch the Annual Bon Voyage Program. Alumni meet and greet new students embarking on the adventure of studying at the LSE and living in London. Make time for one of these events which attract a high percentage of new students, anxious to share your experiences and to network with each other before meeting again for the academic year. The first two events are the popular garden party, graciously hosted once more by alumna Joy Dunkerley, in Washington, DC on July 28, and a reception at the British Consulate General in Boston on July 30.
Upcoming in August, the Bon Voyage program continues in a variety of settings in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver and Chicago. A barbecue may also be held for alumni and students in Philadelphia so check for details of this and other events at: http://www.aflse.org/Events
Most events require online sign-up and there will be NO ADMISSION to the British Consulate receptions in Boston and Los Angeles without registering well in advance. Click on the links below to purchase tickets and sign up.
AFLSE events are open to all alumni, whether or not you live in the area and many have preferential pricing for AFLSE members. Check the MEMBERSHIP link to ensure that you are able to take advantage of all benefits!
