URGENT: Bon Voyage Event for Boston Students en route to LSE

Dear Reader,

Bon Voyage Events for new students are held in all the major US cities and have become one of the AFLSE's most popular programs. They enable students to meet alumni who have had the experience of studying at the School and living in London, and to network with those they will meet up with in the fall.

We are looking for a Boston alumnus/alumna to host a "happy hour" event for Boston students this year. The task will be to select an attractive bar or other downtown location, negotiate for them to provide hors d'oeuvres, set a date between late July and Labor Day, and be on hand to host the evening. There is money available to pay for the event.

If you would be willing to step in on behalf of the AFLSE and would like further information please contact me. There is some urgency in making arrangements as we would like to send the list of events to the LSE at the beginning of next week.

AFLSE VP
