BUSINESS COMPETITION
In March 2011, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick visited the UK with a business delegation to explore opportunities.
Since then companies have been asking us 'so when is the next trip the UK and where do I sign up?'
UK Trade & Investment has partnered with Virgin Atlantic Airways
to create the
'Fast-track to the World - Go for Gold UK' business competition. We are excited to invite you to apply.PRIZES:
Three Winners will receive an expense-paid trip to the UK - courtesy of UKTI and Virgin Atlantic. UK Trade & Investment will prepare a personalised UK visit experience, including meeting program with UK industry specialists, practitioners and potential partners. Companies will receive location / taxation / and company set up services and gain access to an appropriate 'touch down' service, which can include up to 6 months free office rental. Programs will be bespoke, based on the needs of the winners.
COMPETITION DETAILS:
Applicants are invited to submit for one of 3 categories (there will be one winner in each category):
- Innovative in Design
- Innovative in Service Provision
- Innovative in Technology
We invite applications from companies of all sizes, all sectors, and all stages:
- If you are looking at the EU for the first time - you could use this opportunity to scope out opportunities in the UK, investigate different areas, market conditions and market entry requirements
- Already have UK or EU operations? You could use this opportunity to research expansion through additional R&D, sales or regulatory opportunities
- If your EUHQ is not currently located in the UK - you could use this opportunity to meet with industry and business leaders to investigate potential for moving your EUHQ to the UK
- If you are a PR, Legal, Banking, Real Estate or Accounting firm, with or without your own operations in the UK... (and with or without your own application for the Service Provider category) we invite you to showcase this opportunity to your clients - think of the goodwill it would provide to you if they win!
