Alumni and Friends of the LSE
in the United States

Dear Reader,

Please join us for a fantastic opportunity to hear multi-award winning BBC journalist and LSE alum and former LSE academic Dr Kurt Barling who will address the group on "Firearms to Facebook" - Social media as counter terrorism.  Get your tix for family, friends and colleagues now from aflse.org - only $15 including alcoholic beverages and nibbles.  We will have a networking mixer before and after the talk.  The venue will be the offices of City Year at 606 S Olive 2nd Flr in downtown Los Angeles, just off  Pershing Square.

Don't miss your chance for a great evening.

Also mark your calendars now for this year's spectacular Bon Voyage party at Ye Olde Kings Head on Sunday Aug 14 in the evening.  More details will be shared as they emerge.  Last year was so much fun that people were overflowing onto the street.  This once a year bash to send off our new students in grand style is not to be missed - and the fun only starts when YOU arrive.

Best wishes

Mansi and Elizabeth
