Dear Reader,

As many of you will remember, the Japanese Consulate General in Los Angeles threw a magnificent reception for our group several summers ago.  Now is the moment we need to think about repaying that act of generosity.  Please donate what you can to the charities helping the victims of the Japanese earthquake.  Here is a link to a whole range of non-profits active in the region, http://www.usjapancouncil.org/reliefnetwork

Please come out to support LSE alumna Anita Maj who is playing the Viper Room on May 14 at 8pm.

Also on May 31 we will be part of our monthly mixer with other Ivy-type business schools.  This month is hosted by the London Business School.  Let's support our fellow Brits here in LA.  Here are the details:

LBS hosts happy hour this month, which will be at the ultra cool industrial The Edison in downtown LA.

We’ll start at 6 pm and go until whatever.  No cover, just show.  Check the dress code on the website—not onerous, but don’t show in your LA Lakers gangwear!      May 31.
