LSE/British Alumni Mixer - November 4th

AFLSE is pleased to invite you to a Guy Fawkes Night mixer, held at One Lounge in Dupont circle on Thursday November 4th (Yes, one day before actual Guy Fawkes night). The event will be co-hosted and attended by the DC alumni chapters of Oxford, Cambridge, Kings, St. Andrews, Edinburgh, SOAS, and the London School of Tropical Medicine.
Guy Fawkes Night or Bonfire Night, is an annual celebration on the evening of the 5th of November. It celebrates the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot of the 5 November, 1605, in which a number of Catholic conspirators, including Guy Fawkes, were alleged to be attempting to blow up the Houses of Parliament, in London, England.
