ALFSE/LA Fall Events
Dear Reader,
How was everyone's Summer?
The Fall party season is upon us. Please join us at the residence of the British Consul General Dame Barbara Hay on September 22 for an exclusive cocktail hour mixer. See details below. Special rates apply for AFLSE members, so please get knotted with your old school tie to benefit from this discount.
Please join us for a fabulous FREE panel discussion and wine and cheese reception at Loyola Law School in downtown LA where Tom Girardi, the king of torts and LSE alum Gerard Forlin QC, together with other high profile legal stars, will be discussing corporate liability in the aftermath of the BP oil spill. MCLE credit available at the door for $20 admin fee. October 7 at 5pm
The next day, join us at UC Santa Barbara for another free panel discussion regarding global approaches to industrial accidents followed by a wine and cheese reception. Again LSE alum Gerard Forlin QC will be in discussion with high profile legal figures. More details will be posted as they emerge.
Our usual monthly mixers with the Ivy League Plus society and the all MBA mixer group will take place.
For details on these events, and more, please see below or AFLSE.org
We welcome your input - Are you throwing an art exhibition or giving a screening of your latest movie? Do you want to publicize your latest non-profit fundraiser? Are you giving a talk on your area of expertise? Let us know, we would love to include information in our next newsletter.
