AFLSE DC September Newsletter

The AFLSE DC chapter is coming back from summer break with some exciting events lined up for the fall:

 
The monthly happy hour series will return on the third Wednesday, September 15th, from  from 6:00 - 9:00pm at Vapiano in Dupont circle, 1800 M Street NW. LSE alumni, recent grads, future students, and friends are all welcome to attend. No RSVP is necessary.
 
AFLSE alumni have also been invited by the Cambridge alumni group to the Oxford-Cambridge boat race, held Saturday, September 25th. Alumni from Oxford and Cambridge will race boats from the Key Bridge to the Georgetown Waterfront. After the race, alumni will adjourn to the nearby Ritz-Carlton's Degrees Bar. Alumni will be assembling at Assembling 1:30 on the Georgetown Waterfront outside Sequoia Restaurant, 3000 K Street NW. Meetup afterwards, ca. 3:00, at Ritz-Carlton's Degrees Bar, 3100 South Street, Washington, DC.
