As the summer heats up, so does the AFLSE's schedule of activities. Join us for a reception with Howard Davies, a concert in Central Park, bon voyage parties for new LSE students and other activities across the country.
We have over 120 people who have signed up to attend the reception for the LSE Director, Sir Howard Davies, on Wednesday, July 21st in Washington, DC. A few remaining tickets (for current AFLSE members and one guest) are still available. Please click through below or at our website, www.aflse.org.
Thank you to everyone who completed our 2010 AFLSE survey for members and non-members alike. The survey is now closed and the response rates were well above average for this kind of survey. We will be conducting the raffle shortly and notifying winners.
Over the next few weeks Board members and volunteers will be reviewing the results of the survey and addressing issues that have been raised. You can expect to see changes to programming and organization as we reflect on the suggestions you have given us.
July sees the start of the Bon Voyage parties where students heading off to London in the fall have a chance to meet alumni and others attending the LSE. Please support your local Bon Voyage party this month in Seattle, Boston, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Washington DC. In addition there are other events in New York, Los Angeles, San Diego and Boston.
Please don't forget to take advantage of our discounted magazine subscriptions, including the Economist; just another of the advantages of membership of the AFLSE.
