Spring/Summer Philadelphia AFLSE Events
Dear Reader,
I hope you are having a good spring so far! There are a couple of upcoming AFLSE events in Philadelphia this spring and summer. First, there will be a happy hour on Friday, May 21 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Yakitori Boy in Center City Philadelphia. It is located very close to Market East Station. Our group will be in a private room. Please see the details in the link below and RSVP to philadelphia@aflse.org if you can attend or respond on Facebook. We will now be having a regular happy hour every two months. Starting in July we will be at a regular location, so look for that announcement.
Also, on June 12 we will be having a game watching party for the USA/England World Cup match. Please set aside that date to attend, no matter what team you will be supporting! The location for that event will be announced shorty.
Finally, our big event of the year, the Bon Voyage party, will be held in early August. I am looking forward to as many people as possible attending.
Thank you to Wendy Leung for helping plan this month's happy hour and to Jane Berryman for your help with event planning. If anyone else would like to help plan events or has any ideas, please let me know.
I look forward to seeing you on May 21.
