AFLSE San Francisco newsletter - April Events and Preview Until Summer

Dear Reader,

Happy Spring!

We would like to invite you to our April networking event, to be held on April 5th.  It is our First Monday drinks at the Americano Bar (Hotel Vitale, 8 Mission St., San Francisco) and it starts, as usual, at 6:30pm.  If weather permits, we will be sitting outside amongst the beautifully lit Embarcadero (otherwise, we will be by the bar - please ask the host if you cannot locate us).  This location is walking distance to BART, Bay Bridge and Muni.  No RSVP is necessary; this event is very casual.

Depending on interest, we are considering holding another drinks event on April 23rd to celebrate St. George's Day.  Please email us with your interest so that we can plan accordingly.

Upcoming events:

In May, we will again be attending the annual LBS picnic and oyster shucking event in Marin.  Details will follow.  Also in May will very likely be our BBQ in Golden Gate Park.  Expect to see details for this picnic in next month's newsletter.

In celebration of the World Cup in June, we plan on holding a gathering to watch an England match.  Please let us know if there is a particular pub or other location that suits, either in the City or in the Peninsula.

This year's Bon Voyage party will be moved up to July.  Stay tuned for details!

Please feel free to email us with any other suggestions.

Cheers,

Augi and Mauricio
