Please join us on Monday, March 1st for a discussion on Civil Society, Security and Aid Post-9/11: Challenges, Tensions and Dilemmas" featuring LSE Professor Jude Howell and Dr Jeremy Lind. 

Jude Howell and Jeremy Lind, editors of the new book, Civil Society Under Strain; Counter-Terrorism Policy, Civil Society and Aid Post 9/11 (Kumarian Press) will provide their analysis on how nonprofits and aid agencies can engage in security debates and respond to security initiatives in a way that does not compromise their own priorities and principles. The discussion will be followed by a reception with Wine (and non-alcoholic drinks), hors d' oeuvres and desserts.  Date: March 1st, 2010 at 5:00pm Location: Stewart R.
