Atlanta Celtic Christmas Concert: 2:30 p.m., Schwartz Center for Performing Arts at Emory University, Celtic and Appalachian music, dance, poetry and song hosted by James Flannery, Concert cost is $25 and parking is located in the Fishburne Parking Deck on North Decatur Road, Purchase tickets by calling 404-727-5050 or visiting  www.arts.emory.edu/tickets/index.html#purchase , Some discounts may apply for Emory employees and seniors.

Holiday Reception: 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Wine and hors d'oeuvres, Held at Plaza 1000, 1762 Clifton Road next to CDC, Fee will be collected at door and is $10 for alumni and $15 for guests, To see location on Google maps, use the following address: 1762 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30329, Plaza 1000 is in the back of the 1762 building.

Upcoming event on Monday, January 4

Atlanta alumni have been invited to attend a reception with LSE faculty in Atlanta on this date.  The faculty members will be here attending the American Economics Association conference.  The reception will be held at the Marriott Marquis and will also include alumni attending the conference and LSE PhD candidates attending the conference.  More information about this will be sent out when it is available. 

Past Event on Wednesday, November 18

Some members of the Atlanta AFLSE Chapter met at Fado Pub in Buckhead to play trivia.  The team was named the "Radical Beavers" (making use of the school's mascot) and performed fairly well in the trivia contest, although we didn't win!  We will probably play again in the future, so look for updates about this in your e-mail, or keep track of us on the Atlanta Chapter Facebook page.  In Facebook, just search on: Atlanta LSE.
