AFLSE Boston November News

The Third Thursday Social is on 19 November. All are welcome.

As yet, we have received no suggestions regarding a possible end of year get-together. If you have any ideas, please send them along.

In the meantime, there are a number of local events in which you may be interested.

  • LSE's own Dr Alex Voorhoeve, Senior Lecturer in Philosophy, is participating in  "Counter-Composition: Conversations on Ethics", on Monday 30 November, 6PM-8PM.Dr Voorhoeve is only in Cambridge for a short time, but he is eager to chat with interested members of the audience, including any former students or LSE alumni.
  • The British American Business Council of New England (BABCNE) is hosting a panel discussion on "Public Capital in the US and UK: What is it and How to get it" on 17 November,5PM-8:15PM, including a tour of Genzyme Center.
  • For those of you in central and western Massachusetts, and all interested in clean energy, please note the Clean Energy Connections Conference on Tuesday 10 November
  • The Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council welcomes AFLSE members at the member rate. Upcoming events include:
    • Tech Tuesday, Tuesday 10 November, 6PM - 8PM
    • Breakfast Seminar: Social Media in Real Life: Four B2B Marketers Share from the Trenches, Friday 13 November, 8AM-10:30AM
    • SaaS& the Cloud - What are the IT Decision Makers saying?, Tuesday 17 November, 8AM - 9:30AM
