AFLSE Newsletter for Current and New LSE students

Dear Reader,

Welcome to the first of our newsletters particularly for students who will be going to the LSE this fall.

As you probably know the Alumni and Friends of the LSE (AFLSE) arranges Bon Voyage parties in many cities of the United States.  The list of the events is below.  Please be sure to sign up for each event that you wish to attend.

LSE US Students Fall 2009

The group has a lively discussion about such practical items as loans, visas, phone plans and banking.

AFLSE has an arrangement with Lloyds Bank which allows for you to open your account while still in the United States to facilitate transfers and to avoid complicated account opening requirements in the United Kingdom.

If you open your account with Lloyds by clicking through on our website www.aflse.org (see news items) we will make you a gift of a one year student membership of the AFLSE.
