AFLSE Los Angeles: Consul General Event & Introduction to LSE GREG
Dear Reader,
We are pleased to invite you to a special event on July 30, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. in Westwood! We will be hosting a presentation and discussion by Consul Generals from around the world. So far we have commitments from Lebanon, Turkey, Mexico and South Africa (with possible others to join). The discussion will focus on International Reactions to the Obama Revolution. There are only a few tickets left for this event and it will sell out shortly so please be sure to reserve your place. There will be a wine and cheese reception prior to the presentation so that you can mingle with the other guests and the consul generals. Tickets are only $35 for AFLSE members and $45 for all others. We look forward to seeing you there!
In addition, we want to introduce you to the LSE GREG, a new division of the LSE that is becoming active in Los Angeles.
LSE Global Real Estate Group. A new Los Angeles Chapter of the LSE Global Real Estate Group was recently formed and is seeking LSE alumni from the greater Los Angeles area with career interests in the real estate industry to join its membership. LSE GREG is an organization of real estate professionals started in London in 2005. It has chapters and regional contacts worldwide. The Los Angeles Chapter was formed to promote membership locally, organize industry related events and facilitate career and business development among its members and with the greater real estate community. The new head of the Los Angeles Chapter is Jonathan Sears, a partner in the Los Angeles office of Cox Castle & Nicholson LLP. The chapter will initially organize a series of informal mixers to facilitate membership growth and will later host more formal industry related events that appeal to the interests of its members. Ideas and volunteers are welcome. LSE alumni interested in membership or in getting involved may contact Jonathan Sears at jsears@coxcastle.com or by telephone at (310) 284-2277.
