AFLSE Events and News for Early 2007

The AFLSE Chapters and the LSE Foundation are launching 2007 with a great range of events for alumni in Chicago, Houston, New York, San Francisco and Washington, DC.  Do not miss the opprtunity to meet Chinese Ambassador to the US, Zhou Wenzhong, in Washington, DC;  Conor Gearty, distinguished LSE Professor of Human Rights Law, will speak and attend a reception in New York City, and a panel discussion on the Evolution of European Union-USA Relations is planned for Chicago.   In addition, happy hour/alumni mixers are scheduled for San Francisco, New York and Houston (see below).

Howard Davies to be chair of judges for the Man Booker Prize for Fiction 2007
