AFLSE San Francisco newsletter - May News & Event

Dear Reader,

Our next drinks social, aka, First Monday, will take place at the Americano Bar (Hotel Vitale) after 6:30pm on May 4.  This Monday promises to be a special drinks event, as the co-leaders of the Imperial College Bay Area alumni group have said that they will be in attendance!

In addition to beginning a new relationship with  this local alumni group over drinks on May's First Monday, we are working on arranging a summer picnic in the Peninsula with them.  It should be lots of fun, so keep an eye out for more details!

Speaking of social networking, the SF chapter of the AFLSE has  official Facebook and LinkedIn groups.  Please join these groups, so that you may get more up-to-the-minute information and news on the Chapter, and so that you may instantaneously provide us with ideas and feedback.  The links to these are below:

*please note:  there are other, unofficial groups on these sites; the links provided above are to the official AFLSE groups.

We are also organizing our annual Bon Voyage party, to be held this summer for the newly-accepted students to the LSE.  More details on this will be announced as they become final.

Recently, there has been some interest in changing the day of the First Monday drinks social.  If another day would suit better, please let Mauricio know.

See you on May 4!

Cheers,

Augi, Mauricio and Bianca
