- Upcoming events.

The chapter e-mail is atlanta@aflse.org if you would like to contact them. Sheila's direct e-mail address is stefft@emory.edu. Mont's is mont.rogers@emory.edu. Bios are included at the end of this newsletter. Selena Jackson has agreed to be the Atlanta Chapter contact person for prospective LSE students. You can e-mail her if you know a student who has questions about LSE. Her e-mail address is selena.jackson@gmail.com. Her bio is also included at the end of this newsletter.
Chapter Events: By now you should have received the national newsletter from AFLSE describing all the wonderful events for LSE alumni in the nation. We've had two really fun events in Atlanta in the past few months. The Atlanta LSE Holiday event was a big success. This year we had 50 people attend the Atlanta Celtic Christmas Concert, the reception afterwards or both. In attendance were alumni of Cambridge, Oxford, St. Andrews and LSE. Some LSE alumni drove from as far as Chattanooga. You could spot the LSE alumni because they were the best looking ones! The St. Patrick's Day Mixer with Cambridge and Oxford alumni was very enjoyable, even if it was quieter than last year. An intimate group gathered at 5 Seasons Brewing in Roswell and caught up over drinks and snacks.
Upcoming Events: The next alumni of British universities event on our calendar is the annual Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race and Reception at the residence of the British Consul General in Atlanta on April 26. And, the Atlanta Chapter of AFLSE will have a send-off party for new LSE students in the summer. We will send out more information about both of these events.
That's all for now! Some of us have discussed getting a trivia team together to compete in some of the local matches. E-mail us if you would be interested in this.
