Who Sings, Please Come to Boston for the Springtime?
Dear Reader,
Even if you're not up on one-hit wonders and have never seen a 45 you'll still enjoy lunch with alumni and friends on Wednesday 8 April. And to keep it relatively contemporary, we're featuring wines from Washington state, as this is the 15th anniversary since we lost grunge star Kurt Cobain. No one can say that AFLSE isn't an eclectic group!
We have an equally eclectic guest speaker participating at this luncheon. Whether you're interested in investment management, venture capital, enterprise search technologies, or online communities for physician, or raising milk cows in Saudi Arabia, Ra'ad Siraj will have something informative and entertaining to contribute. Space is limited, and early registration strongly preferred.

While you're adding this to your calendar, don't forget our Third Thursdays Social at the Times Irish Pub. The Social in APril is on the 16th. Watch for the AFLSE sign and the book of pub quizzes if you're new to the scene. And practice your darts in advance!
We are expecting one or more LSE lecturers to visit this year, so keep an eye on the Newsletter and website -- the latest LSE Public Lecture podcasts are posted there.
If you have any suggestions or are interested in helping out, please let us know via boston@aflse.org. We do need volunteers to make these events successful! Another very helpful contribution is through the LSE Annual Fund, which for the first time will provide a matching grant to AFLSE if we meet key fundraising targets.
