AFLSE National Spring Newsletter
Dear Reader,
Spring is in the air and we encourage you to take advantage of the many alumni events that are planned for the month of April.
In New York City on April 7, Professor Sekvet Pamuk, Chair of Contemporary Turkish Studies at the LSE, will be speaking on EU-Turkey Relations, and on the 23rd, a successful young entrepreneur will be giving a seminar on Business Planning. The Boston Chapter will hold a Leadership Luncheon an April 8, and in Washington DC, there will be a reception for young professionals, organized by the Smithsonian Institution on April 23. In addition, there are other happy hour/social networking opportunities for you in Boston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, DC. (See below for details)
If you have not already done so, be aware that a tax-deductible April contribution to the LSE Centennial Fund may also help the finances of the AFLSE. We have been given the challenge of increasing the number of alumni contributing to the fund by 12% compared with the previous year. If we succeed the AFLSE will receive a generous grant from the School. Just scroll down to the link below to make your online contribution!
