Welcome to the Alumni and Friends of the LSE and to its Chapter Events

Dear Reader,

The database of the Alumni and Friends of the LSE in the USA (AFLSE) was recently merged with the LSE's own alumni database.  Therefore, for many of you this may be your first contact with the AFLSE and with our website.  Visit http://www.aflse.org and LOGIN to review all the benefits of MEMBERSHIP.   These include:  discounted subscriptions to the Economist, the Financial Times and other journals;  preferential access to the Princeton Club in Manhattan and the Harvard Club in Boston;  members-only access to the alumni directory, and other databases, and preferential membership pricing for events organized by the LSE Foundation and AFLSE Chapters.

The CHAPTERS link will give you contact information for local alumni leaders, and the EVENTS link is constantly updated with activities taking place across the country.  For November, these include a get-together in Dallas, the 2nd Annual British and Irish Graduates Ball in Boston, and Evening with the United Nations Development Programme Administrator, and the regular New York Happy Hour (see below).  Also upcoming will be a series of Holiday Parties, beginning with the New York event on December 1.

Regular electronic newsletters, such as this, are sent out from the website to keep you updated on news and activities, but you are urged to visit http://www.aflse.org to join the ALSE, to take advantage of the membership benefits, and make sure that you do not miss out on news and events.
