Our third Thursday of the month mixer will take place in downtown LA at Weiland Brewery Underground on February 19 at 7pm. Follow the link for more details.

A mixer in Ventura County had been planned for this Saturday February 7, however, NO-ONE RSVP'd so this event is being cancelled. If you are an alum living in Ventura County or Santa Barbara and you would like us to arrange events for this geographical area, please contact Elizabeth and Mansi at losangeles@aflse.org Please tell us the type of events you would like (for example, do you want to be able to include your children? Do you want to go on a winery tour?) we will try to come up with the best events to suit as many as possible.
Instead, we are now planning a mixer in Orange County for March. This will take place at the Purple Foot Wine Bar. Watch this space for more information. We are greatly appreciative of fellow alum Valerie Jaffee for spearheading this event. Please email us to let us know if you are in the OC area and might be interested in helping to arrange events for alums in OC.
SAVE THE DATE - MARCH 28 - We will be joining with the Mayflower Club for a pub evening featuring a fabulous all singing, all comedy act. The Mayflower Club is an Anglo-American social club in North Hollywood. Watch this space for the March newsletter to find out details.
Lastly, we have been in discussions with the Oxford Alumni Association and the Harvard Club to organise an event featuring a panel of the Consul Generals stationed in Los Angeles, discussing (broadly) international responses to the Obama revolution. If you have any contacts at any of the Consulates around town or if you have access to a fab venue for this event, please contact us. We (and your fellow alums) will be most grateful.
