AFLSE San Francisco - January Special Event & First Monday Change
Dear Reader,
Hello!
We hope that you are all having a wonderful holiday season! Below is some important news regarding a special event and a change to our First Monday gathering.
It is our pleasure to announce that many of the LSE's distinguished economics faculty will be in San Francisco at the beginning of January, attending the AEA/ASSA Annual Conference. To welcome them to our wonderful city, we will host a reception for these economic gurus.
Join us on Saturday, January 3, 2009, from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Hilton San Francisco (333 O'Farrell Street, Union Square, Room 20, San Francisco CA) to spend a few hours with this interesting LSE faculty.
Please RSVP by December 31, 2008 on-line at www.aflse.org, by email to foundation@lse.ac.uk, or by calling 646 442 2895.
***As the first Monday of January falls on January 5th, too close to this reception, we will not have a First Monday gathering. Instead, we will combine our First Monday drinks social with this faculty reception.
See you all on January 3rd!
Happy Holidays,
Augi, Bianca and Mauricio
