AFLSE: Upcoming Events in Los Angeles
Dear Reader,
We have had some great events in the last few weeks including our monthly pub night, a breakfast with the British Ambassador to the U.S, and a private viewing at the Bowers Museum. In the upcoming weeks, we have some very exciting events coming up where you can reconnect with fellow LSE alums.
On October 21st, LSE alums are invited to join alumni from other prestigious universities for The Ivy Plus Society's Back to School event at PaliHouse in Hollywood. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends while sipping on cocktails at the trendy bar. Please keep in mind that these events tend to sell out so be sure and get your tickets early so you don't miss out on the fun!
November 9th is a theater trip to see Malcolm and Theresa, a play that features Beatrice and Sidney Webb, founders of LSE! There will be a short reception to follow the play that will give us a chance to chat and relive our LSE days.
Then on November 13th, we are joining forces with the Oxford alumni group and heading to Cat N' Fiddle in Hollywood for our monthly pub night! What better way to spend a Thursday evening than with fellow LSE and Oxford alums, pub grub, and a nice cold pint?
On November 15th, we are heading to Oxnard to grab drinks and pub grub at The Lookout Bar & Grill. This is a great opportunity to drive up the coast and spend some time at this wonderful British pub. Its also an exciting opportunity to meet fellow LSE alums from Santa Barbara and Ventura!
