AFLSE Summer Events across the USA

Dear Reader,

A range of events has been organized for alumni in Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC (see below). Gather at the seashore with Philadelphia alumni; discuss the Law and Counterterrorism in Washington, DC; celebrate the 80th Birthday of Queen Elizabeth II in Denver; join a discussion in Los Angeles with one of Michael Jackson's defence attorneys; picnic in Central Park while listening to the New York Philharmonic, and view The Tempest in Houston (see below).

There are also regular Happy Hours in New York, Houston, San Francisco, and Washington, and our hard-working chapter leaders are beginning to organize Bon Voyage parties for new students to meet alumni/ae who will share their experiences of studying in London, and network with others en route to follow the same adventure. Sign up online for the Washington, DC party on July 22, and plan to attend the Houston event on August 21.

If you are not a current member of the AFLSE, but are reading this newsletter, you are benefitting from the dues paid by others who are supporting the organization. Membership dues pay for this website and its administration, for listservers, and for direct support for the local chapters.

Individual benefits for members include discounted subscriptions to The Economist and other journals, and a newly negotiated $99 per year subscription to the Financial Times. A discounted initiation fee for the Princeton Club of New York is also available until May 30. REVIEW these and other MEMBER BENEFITS by logging in to http://www.aflse.org
