British Embassy Reception, October 24 in Washington DC

Sir Nigel Sheinwald, KCMG, British Ambassador to the United States, has graciously consented to host an AFLSE reception in his residence on Friday, October 24th at 6:00pm.
Sir Nigel took up his appointment in October 2007, after serving four years as Foreign Policy and Defence Adviser to the Prime Minister and Head of the Cabinet Office Defence and Overseas Secretariat. He also served as UK Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the European Union in Brussels from 2000-2003, among other appointments in a distinguished diplomatic career dating back to 1976.
