Summer events and Bon Voyage party
Dear Reader,
It's been very exciting hearing from all the newly accepted students to the LSE, as well as continuing to meet alumni of the university who live in and around Los Angeles.
Many of you joined us for our spectacular wine tasting at Silverlake Wine on June 14, which we co-hosted with alumni from MIT - guaranteed to become an annual tradition.
We hope to see more of you at our annual Bon Voyage party for new students attending the LSE this fall. Join us on Thursday, August 21 from 7 to 9 PM at Mark's Restaurant in West Hollywood as we wish a fond farewell to the newest batch of Beavers, and catch up with new and old friends from the LSE.
Other summer events highlights include our monthly mixer with The Ivy Plus Society. Join us on July 30 at Bar Marmont on Sunset Boulevard from 7 to 10 PM to mingle with fellow grads of prestigious universites at one of Hollywood's coolest hangs.
LSE alums are invited, as always, to join graduates of Harvard Business School at a lecture on economic reforms in China and their economic, social and political impact at the Los Angeles Athletic Club in Downtown on August 13 at 6 PM.
