AFLSE Summer Newsletter: Bon Voyage Program and Other News

Dear Reader,

In addition to a range of other summertime events to be found at http://www.aflse.org, July sees the launch of our popular Bon Voyage annual program.  Alumni are invited to socialize and share their experiences of living and studying in London with students en route to study at the LSE in the fall, and students also meet and network with others about to embark on the same adventure.  This year, events are being organized in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, DC - details for some cities are still being finalized, notably Boston and Philadelphia, so keep checking our website.

Bon Voyage events begin with New Orleans on July 13, Washington DC on July 19, and Denver on July 29, to be followed by New York, Chicago and San Francisco in early August (see below).  RSVPs and online sign-up is required.

AFLSE members are also invited to sign up for the British Embassy Reception to be hosted by Sir Nigel Sheinwald, British Ambassador to the USA, in his residence on Friday, October 24.  Board members should note that a Board Meeting and possibly a dinner will be held the next day.

We are also pleased to announce the launch of AFLSE Custom Mentoring Services, so click on the link below for more information.
