As news about COVID-19 evolves, global health experts suggest that everyone practice social distancing to slow the spread of this virus.
In accordance with this guidance, AFLSE DC has canceled our standard 3rd Mondays monthly happy hour, which we had scheduled to host tonight.
Given the latest CDC guidelines suggesting no gatherings of more than 50 people for the next eight weeks, we also have to cancel planned April events, including our annual Networking Night. We will let you know if this event is rescheduled for later this year.
Our second priority as chapter leaders is to host events that connect and engage LSE alumni in DC. Our first priority is to ensure that we keep our community safe, healthy, and inclusive. When we can safely meet again as a group, you will be the first to know.
In the meantime, we encourage you to join and use our chapter's Facebook group to connect virtually until it's safe for us to meet in person. Whether you want to change careers, find a mentor, search for housing, or anything else, please use this group to find what you need and take care of each other.
