Hi [first_name],
We held our first annual planning event in late February. We had great attendees and engagement – thank you to all who made it and for the many contributions we received from New York and elsewhere. Linked here are the main conclusions of our meeting.
In summary:
Of our three planning themes, our focus is on Connecting To A Common Experience of Learning. Many participants reflected on their love of debate while at LSE and that “learning is who we are…”
We established a learning workgroup and a data workgroup – thank you, volunteers! The learning workgroup function is to identify significant topics of interest and to engage the deep expertise we need to drive great debate and…learning. Both workgroups are open to all our members – please let us know if you want to help.
Our Chapter will continue to network and create opportunities to socialize – but with more structure and purpose.
Please get back to us with your ideas – we need your help and input to put the plan into action. As always, you can share on our Chapter FB, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages.
Regards,
Mauricio, Augi and Chris
