[AFLSE DC] See You Tonight at Destination LSE

Dear Reader,

We want to remind you that our 3rd Mondays monthly happy hour is canceled for the month of August and will resume in September.

Instead, AFLSE DC will host our annual Destination LSE party tonight - Saturday, August 11th - from 5:30 - 8:00 pm.

Each summer, AFLSE chapters across North America host "bon voyage" parties for LSE's next cohort. These parties are a great space for accepted students to meet classmates, housemates, and LSE alumni before heading to Houghton Street.

Complementary hors d'oeuvres will be served, and $5 happy hour drinks will also be served until 10:00 pm. Attendance is free, and all alumni are welcome. Accepted students love hearing your advice about classes, housing, life in London, and more!

Finally, LSE is planning a careers fair in DC on Thursday, September 13th. They're looking for an alum to record the panel and keynote aspects of the fair so that these can be shared on social media. If you have your own video equipment and are able to volunteer that evening, please email us.

See you soon,

Lauren, Scott, and Beth
