Dear Reader,
After 9 years of serving as the AFLSE Philadelphia chapter leader, it is now time for me to step down from the position. I have enjoyed meeting many of you over the years and have been able to attend and organize many interesting events.
AFLSE is now looking for someone else to become the Philadelphia chapter leader. The main responsibilities include organizing events- the main ones each year are the Destination LSE Event in the summer (formerly the Bon Voyage party), Networking Night in the spring, and possibly a holiday party. There are occasionally faculty lectures, and other events at your choosing, such as happy hours. Information about events is sent through the newsletter and Facebook page, which you will moderate. A few times per year there will be conference calls with other leaders throughout the U.S. If you have questions about the position, let me know. It is a great opportunity to meet local alumni and alumni throughout the U.S. If you are interested please e-mail me at philadelphia@aflse.org
