Boston Area LSE Alumni are Invited to a Pub Discussion with Prof Arne Westad on Thur, MARCH 22nd

Join LSE alumni for a pub discussion with former LSE Professor Arne Westad to answer the question, "Are We in a Cold War 2.0?"

Professor Arne Westad is a world-renowned scholar on the Cold War and Chinese Arne Westadforeign policy. He joined the International History department at LSE in 1998, teaching courses on both topics, until he joined Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government in 2015 as S.T. Lee Professor of U.S.-Asia Relations. While at LSE, he co-founded LSE IDEAS, a centre for international affairs, diplomacy and strategy, and in 2005 authored "The Global Cold War: Third World Interventions and the Making of Our Times," which received the Bancroft Prize, the Michael Harrington Award, and the Akira Iriye International History Book Award.
