[AFLSE DC] Become an AFLSE Member Today
|
Dear Reader,
2018 will be here in just four days. This week is often filled with asks for donations to charities that are close to our hearts. Did you know that the AFLSE is a charity as well?
AFLSE was founded in 1970 by several LSE graduates who were based in North America and wanted to create a community here.
Nearly five decades later, the AFLSE has 18 city chapters and 11 representatives across the US. We are a members-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides programming ranging from free monthly happy hours to events at embassies.
As 2017 draws to a close, this is an ideal time to become an AFLSE member. Among other benefits, you'll earn:
If you've graduated from LSE within the last five years, an annual AFLSE membership costs just $30. And because we are a 501(c)(3), your membership is tax deductible.
AFLSE memberships help us produce more events for alumni like you. We've enjoyed meeting you throughout this year and hope you'll join us as an AFLSE member in 2018.
See you soon,
Lauren, Scott, Nana, and Beth
Chapter leaders, AFLSE DC
