AFLSE DC Chapter Newsletter (August)

Dear Reader,

As the sweltering summer turns into autumn, the DC chapter of Alumni and Friends of The London School of Economics (AFLSE) will host six events for you.

First, we'll throw our annual Destination LSE party for new students this Saturday, August 12th, from 5:30 - 8:00 pm at Local 16 on U Street. Attendance is free and all alumni are welcome.

We'll follow Destination LSE with a roundtable talk on digital inequality hosted by Robin Mansell - Professor of New Media and the Internet in LSE's Media and Communications department - on Wednesday, September 6th, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

And due to popular demand, we'll re-launch our monthly happy hours on the 3rd Monday of each month starting this September. Each happy hour is free with no need to RSVP.

See you soon,

Lauren Maffeo
Chair, AFLSE DC
