First AFLSE Real Estate Group Newsletter
Dear Reader,
This is the first AFLSE Real Estate Group newsletter. We are excited to be launching this group in cooperation of the AFLSE and the Global Real Estate Group (GREG).
The launch event on the east coast is coming up in New York on April 15th. Details of the seminar and the sign up options are available below. We hope that you will be able to join us either in person or by conference call.
The real estate group is designed to be national in nature and is intended to be of service to all LSE graduates in the United States regardless of where they work and reside. To further this effort we have created an online discussion group at www.aflse.org currently located under Networking on the main menu.
An important additional service that many of the AFLSE professional groups are planning to offer is a mentoring service for LSE graduates working in similar practices. We will be launching the mentoring service during the second quarter and request that you consider becoming a mentor in the real estate group. Contact will be by e-mail initially, using a masked e-mail address at aflse.org to protect mentors from direct contact. We envisage that with a number of mentors on our panel, each mentor will have relatively light requests. Mentors should feel free to withdraw at any time.
If you would like to join the real estate mentoring panel and help other LSE graduates in the industry, please send us an e-mail indicating your areas of expertise and the firm that you currently work for to realestate@aflse.org.
If you know of other real estate professionals that were at LSE and may not have been identified, please drop us an e-mail with their details.
