First AFLSE San Diego Web based Newsletter
Dear Reader,
Welcome to the first AFLSE San Diego web based Newsletter. As I mentioned in my recent e-mail to everyone on the address list for AFLSE San Diego, we are excited to be kick starting the group here with a happy hour event on Thursday of this week, details below. We have at least a dozen people who have called or e-mailed me to say that they are coming.
This newsletter has the same format as the AFLSE National newsletter sent out at the beginning of every month but we control the materials so that they are relevant to you.
If you would like to help with the programming for the San Diego group, please let me know either at the happy hour or by e-mail. If you have job or other announcements that you would like included in the next edition of the newsletter, drop me a note The chapter e-mail address is sandiego@aflse.org.
Our friends in the LA AFLSE chapter have an active program this spring. We thought that you would be interested in seeing their events, also shown below. The highlight is a visit from LSE faculty on 27th March with a discussion that will be kicking off the new media special interest group. If that is your area of interest, we recommend that you go to the new media SIG page and joining the group.
Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday
Jorge Jimenez
