AFLSE NYC - First Monday Feb 6 @ Churchill Tavern, Brexit Talk Feb 9 @ Princeton Club
|
Dear Reader,
We look forward to seeing you on Monday February 6 to inaugurate the new home of First Mondays, the Churchill Tavern (45 East 28th St, between Park and Madison). We will be on the second floor from 7:00pm and enjoy a much more spacious, semi-private bar.
We also hope to see you at a timely talk at the Princeton Club on Thursday, February 9 at 6:30pm: What Would Constitute a Successful Brexit?: A discussion with LSE Professor Iain Begg. Details available at the link below.
Cambridge alumni kindly invited us an informal gathering at the Red Lion pub (151 Bleecker St) on the morning of Saturday February 4 to watch the RBS 6 Nations Rugby matches (9:25am Ireland vs Scotland; 11:50am England vs France). Look for the CantabNYC sign at the Red Lion and contact Thomas Harte at tharte@cantab.net with any questions. There may be a $20 per person charge if the matches are broadcast by Premium Sports rather than by the BBC.
Lastly, save the evening of Friday, May 19 for our annual tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art followed by drinks on the rooftop!
Best,
John, Connor, Chris and Michael-John
