AFLSE National Newsletter for March, 2008

Dear Reader,

The AFLSE is pleased to announce an exciting new initiative with the launching of special interest affinity groups to promote professional and social networking related to a range of professions and careers which have attracted our alumni.  These include:  Education, Media, Financial Services, NGOs, Legal, Intergovermental Organizations and others (see below).   Alumni are invited to join any of these groups or to expand the list.

As usual, the AFLSE offers a a varied program of upcoming events around the country, organized by our Chapter leaders, or in collaboration with others.  These include:  "happy hour/mixers" in Chicago, Houston, New York and San Francisco;  the launching of a program of Leadership Luncheons in Boston and an International Women's Day Celebration in Chicago.  In San Francisco a panel discussion has been scheduled on the future of Anti-Americanism and Transatlantic Relations after 1/20/2009.  The panel will feature LSE faculty.
