AFLSE Minneapolis Chapter January 30th Happy Hour !

Dear Reader,

Come join us for our first 2008 Happy Hour!  For those who are unaware, the Minneapolis Chapter of the AFLSE has been working in conjunction with an alumni organization called IvyPlus Network to put on a variety events each month.  IvyPlus was co-founded by an LSE Alumn and two Harvard Alumni to offer three types of events: (1) professional networking (2) volunteer events (3) social events.  The genesis of IvyPlus came about due to the difficulties in successfully putting together multiple events each year for the individual schools, given the smaller population of alumni in the Twin Cities area. Collectively, the schools can put together several events each month allowing much broader participation and the opportunity to individuals in the area that have similar educational backgrounds.  There is no cost to join/attend as long as your alumni status is current with the AFLSE.  The IvyPlus Member schools currently includes:  All of the Ivy League schools "plus" a few others including: LSE, Oxford, Stanford, MIT, and a few others.  Feel free to check out the IvyPlus website:  www.ivyplusnetwork.com
