AFLSE NYC - Special Career Event April 18: Panel Discussion and Networking Evening

Dear Reader,

We are pleased to invite you to a special event on April 18: Networking for Career Success. The event will feature a panel discussion and networking evening focused on successfully building and navigating a career. The panel discussion will be led by Bruce Tuchman, President AMC/Sundance Channel Global Network, and feature distinguished alums at Google, Blackstone, the United Nations and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Essex, Hudson & Union Counties. The event will take place at 6:30pm at Civic Hall (145 Fifth Ave) and is free for members, $10 for non-members. Please click on the event listing below for complete details and to register, space is limited.

We also hope you'll come socialize and network at our First Mondays event on April 4 on the second floor of the Playwright Tavern from 7:00pm (49th St between 7th Ave and Broadway).

Also, as mentioned earlier this month, we are excited to share news about the Alumni Start-Up Hub, a group formed in London in 2015 with the aim of gathering all LSE alumni activities in the start-up space and promoting LSE as a leader in innovation and entrepreneurship. The Hub is interested in organizing events and developing a network in New York City. Details about the Hub are on its site. If you are interested in getting involved with the NYC group please send an email with a brief note about your experience in the start-up space to newyork@aflse.org or speak with AFLSE NY Chapter leaders Connor Galvin or Michael-John Pierce at April's First Monday. We are excited to help the Hub get started in the NYC area! (**If you have already written or spoken to us, no need to connect with us again, we will be in touch soon. Thank you for your patience as we get a sense of the interest and expertise in NYC.**)

Finally, save the date for our annual tour and rooftop drinks at the Metropolitan Museum of Art! Friday, May 20 around 6pm! Details and ticket info to follow.

With best regards,

AFLSE Chapter Leaders
