The Chicago Architecture Foundation’s Panel on "Climate Change & Chicago’s Infrastructure," featuring LSE’s Richard Burdett, Chief Adviser in Architecture and Urbanism for the London 2012 Olympics.  

Join LSE in Chicago and the Chicago Architecture Foundation for a stimulating talk about one of the most talked about issues facing the world today -- how to best prepare for the impact of global climate change.  In addition to being a key advisor to the London 2012 Olympics, Richard Burdett is LSE Centennial Professor in Architecture and Urbanism and director of Urban Age at LSE - a program that examines the future of cities.  Mr. Burdett and a panel of Chicago’s departmental leaders will discuss how global climate change initiatives can be expected to affect Chicago’s future infrastructure.   A reception will follow the discussion.

When: Thursday, November 15, 2007 -- 6:00 pm

Where: Chicago Architecture Foundation, 224 S. Michigan Ave.

LSE in Chicago attendees will meet at the entrance to the auditorium right before the lecture.
