Drinks mixers and more LSE in LA
Dear Reader,
THIS FRIDAY EVENING at Ye Olde Kings Head in Santa Monica – you are duly summoned to the LSE drinks mixer at Ye Olde Kings Head in Santa Monica. Your chapter leaders have alerted some other UK University alums to this mixer and hope everyone will be welcoming! Perhaps we can organize some joint events.
Thursday June 18 6pm onwards at The Backstage Bar and Grill in Culver City– let’s have another drinks mixer in a different part of town – trying to appeal to everyone – this time is will be The Backstage Bar in Culver City, right opposite the Sony lot – so anyone working at Sony is ordered to attend (LOL)
Aug 16 Bon Voyage Party – the highlight of our social calendar – welcoming our new brothers and sisters into the LSE fold. Three-line whip for everyone’s attendance at this event (as they say in British politics). Mark your calendars now.
It is crucial that everyone joins our facebook group which has job postings and more. Also please look regularly at our aflse.org website for upcoming events.

Mike Reddin, Former Senior Tutor, Passes Away Thursday, 06/9/11 at 3:00am Some U.S. alumni will remember Mike Reddin who passed away April 25th, 2011. For nearly 40 years he worked at LSE as student, researcher, lecturer and Senior Tutor to the General Course. |
