New Chapter Coordinator

Dear Reader,

I want to introduce myself as your new AFLSE Chapter Coordinator.  I graduated from the LSE in 2003 with an MSc in Politics of the World Economy.  I am originally from Denver, Colorado and served as the Denver Chapter Co-Chair for almost two years.  I recently moved to Washington D.C. and am looking forward to serving the AFLSE on a national level.

I’d like to get to know you all on an individual basis and plan to be in touch with the leadership of each chapter in the upcoming months.   Please stay tuned to an e-mail from me to set up a time and date for these discussions.  In the mean time, I’d like some initial feedback from you on how this year has been going so far and what your plans are for the rest of the year.  This information will help me structure our discussions as well as provide valuable information for the AFLSE to improve our policies and services.  Please send me a brief e-mail with your comments on what events and activities have worked well for you this year, what your program plans are for the rest of the year and any questions or comments you have on the overall AFLSE program, membership, policies and procedures.  Please see my contact details below.

I would also like to begin an annual or semi-annual Leadership Conference Call where we can all be introduced to each other, discuss our Chapter programs and voice our concerns, comments and questions in a group forum.

I look forward to your e-mails and to speaking with you in the near future.

Best Regards,

Jennifer Hopkins
