AFLSE NYC - First Monday cancelled, Guy Fawkes Party on Wednesday, Third Thursday on Nov 20
Dear Reader,
This is just a reminder that November's First Monday is cancelled and that our annual Guy Fawkes Party will take place on Wednesday on November 5. Guy Fawkes Night (also known as Bonfire Night) is an annual celebration which celebrates the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot of the 5th of November, 1605, in which a number of conspirators, including Guy Fawkes, were alleged to attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament. The party will take place at the Landmark Tavern (626 11th Ave, at 46th St) from 7:00-10:00pm in the back room on the ground floor. No tickets are required, this will be cash bar for drinks and food.
We also hope to see you at this November's Third Thursday on November 20 at Parlor (286 Spring St) from 7:00pm.
With best regards,
AFLSE NY Chapter leaders
