AFLSE NYC - No First Monday in Nov, Guy Fawkes Party on Nov 5, Third Thursday on Nov 20

Dear Reader,

We hope you will join us at our annual Guy Fawkes Party on November 5 in place of First Monday in November. Guy Fawkes Night (also known as Bonfire Night) is an annual celebration which celebrates the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot of the 5th of November, 1605, in which a number of conspirators, including Guy Fawkes, were alleged to attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament. The party will take place at the Landmark Tavern (626 11th Ave, at 46th St) from 7:00-10:00pm in the back room on the ground floor. There will be no First Monday in November.

We also hope to see you at this November's Third Thursday on November 20 at Parlor (286 Spring St) from 7:00pm.
