REMINDER: Denver Area LSE Alumni are Invited to a Discussion and Reception - Thursday Sept 25th
Dear Reader,
World Denver is inviting all Rocky Mountain region LSE alumni to attend a presentation on: “What Next in Afghanistan and Pakistan?”
Ambassador Marc Grossman
Through the gracious offer of World Denver, LSE alumni and friends may register and attend the event on Thursday September 25th, featuring Ambassador Marc Grossman, at a cost normally reserved for World Denver members. Ambassador Grossman received his MSc from the LSE, and will be speaking on What's Next in Afganistan and Pakistan.
The Presentation: "As America’s combat mission in Afghanistan ends in December, 2014, do Afghans have the will and capacity to fight the Taliban to protect what they have achieved since 2003? Does the United States have any enduring interests in Afghanistan? What should American policy be toward Pakistan, a nuclear armed, fragile state, now itself under attack by insurgents?"
For a lively discussion of these and other questions about the future of central and south Asia, please join us on September 25th!
Note that registration must be on the World Denver website, where there is a special category for AFLSE. Our registrants must use this code (all lowercase): londonschool For event details and registration please visit: http://www.worlddenver.org/event-1716959
